After a long day at work, what better way than to wind down by playing your favorite RPG, or laughing with your friends in some friendly multiplayer competition. That’s exactly what all the adults are doing in today’s world.

However, studies show that video gaming is far more beneficial if the games are being regulated by the parents and games are played responsibly. The parents should regulate what rated games they should allow their children to play. Also children should not binge play video games and forget about their own responsibilities. Some are even saying that video games can relieve pain better than most prescribed medicines. Video games even relieve stress, so those with post-traumatic stress disorder and it relieve anxiety and stress.

Overall video games are just beneficial to anyone’s mind no matter what age. They can influence your cognitive thinking, decision making, common sense, reflexes, and even anxiety. Video games are just overall a good hobby, which we believe is better than most hobbies out there. But remember, a hobby is defined as something done in one’s leisure time. So it is not to be overdone, or those benefits will become nulled due to the negative effects of playing too much. So instead of sitting down and watching some t.v. and going brain dead. Do something with your mind, pick up a controller instead, and let’s get gaming!
